Government needs the participation of its Citizens to truly be effective. I would like to hear from you. The use of email, where possible, will help in the flow of information and reduce errors in communication, I may also be reached at the listed phone numbers.
It is my responsibility to listen to you and act where possible. I must watch both for pitfalls that might harm our community and opportunities which could make Morehead a better place to live and work.
I am a native of Morehead with no desire to live elsewhere, I love the hills and trees we are blessed with. The City has changed quite a lot since I was a child, some of it good and some not so much, but change is has.
Quite often when one views government from the outside things seemed pretty black and white - there is a lot of gray to deal with on the inside.
I strongly feel government should exist for the benefit of the citizenry and not the other way around. Government should work for the greatest good while doing the least possible harm in the process. The least among us needs the same protections as the greatest.
