HOME> DEPARTMENTS> BLDG/CODE ENFCMT Bldg/Code Enfcmt The Kentucky Building Code and the Kentucky Residential Code have been adopted by the City of Morehead. The City Building Inspector and Assistant are the local enforcement agents for these codes.  To obtain a Building Permit, Sign Permit, Banner Permit, Fence Permit, Mobile Home permit, please call the City Planner/Inspection office. You may also download applications for the above permits at Documents Center/Applications. These applications must be filed with the City Planner/Inspection office. To check license fees for the above, please refer to the City of Morehead Code of Ordinances Chapter 150:Building Regulations (See Documents Center/Code of Ordinances).
