HOME> DEPARTMENTS> PUBLIC WORKS Public Works Welcome to the City of Morehead Public Works Department. We are committed to assisting our community with excellent services. We maintain all city streets handling issues such as paving, milling, concrete, storm drains, pothole repair, repairing street signs, etc. We offer Monday - Friday garbage service for city residents and businesses. We also offer special Wednesday trash pickup service with fees determined by time and resources used. It consists of picking up items such as washers and dryers, bed frames, water heaters, brush, etc. In addition to serving our community, our department maintains maintenance on all city vehicles, city facilities, mowing and street sweeping.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact Cecil Cornett, Director of Public Works at 606-784-4503.
